Rockford Fosgate R1200-1D remote

OK, I wanted to update this thread. I tried using an rj12 splitter from one knob to the Amps and it works. I just finished it and it's late but I think it will work out well.

If I don't have any issues I am going to move it but I think it's good in case anybody else tries this.

And for the record. I emailed rockford fosgate and they said it one remote knob to two separate amps can't be done. Seems like they would have known this would work.

I had a similar q about the alpine knob.

I asked crutchfield, they said no. Then i looked at the crutchfield product page and it confirmed you can.

Im now wondering if it will work on other brands of amps which have the same rj11/14 control knob inputs.

The stereo installer I took my car to have it tuned said it would work. He said he mostly Installs alpine and he does it and it works well. I am happy though.

its hit and miss as theyre not all wired the same at the plug
