Oh hay there
I used a RF 25 to Life Punch 45 for awhile on my front stage. It was decent but a little small. I wish I would have got the Punch 75
Not by as much as the smaller units. The 4 channel section is more undderrated than the sub section. Mine came out producing a fair amount of power. BTW I love the Power1000 25 to life. It is treating me very well. The 23 to life amps are horribly underrated. Its actually bad if you dont know how much power they actually have.
Just myself a power 1000, part of the 25 to life.
I hope its way underrated too.
exactly my point. soooo maybe after all they ARE a bunch of dirty *****es! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifgood buy man.
i recently looked at those 25-life amps, and i saw what they offered, and i said to myself, 75x2@4 for $200~250? and i said, wow, rockford - you outdid yourselfs.
but with this knowledge, i stand corrected. but it does almost feel like they are cheating buyers. giving them amps that are so horrifically over rated that they feel like OMG - rockford is kicking ass again! almost like a false "we are still awesome" feeling.
when in reality, they just made some good looking amps for once, and put out power figures that people can respect and a decent price point.
Definetly, the little 2 and 4ch powers are a couple hundred watts different. Not by as much as the smaller units. The 4 channel section is more undderrated than the sub section. Mine came out producing a fair amount of power. BTW I love the Power1000 25 to life. It is treating me very well.
Going by fuses alone, you know that the cea2006 specs are a crock of poo.good buy man.

yea my amp came with 3x40 amp fuses lol.more than my old mbquart which was rated about the same as the rf birthsheet( not the spec number but the actual wattage) and it had 3 30 amp fuses IIRCGoing by fuses alone, you know that the cea2006 specs are a crock of poo.even at 50% effeciency they still do more power..lol
When I get home, I'll post it. My sub section is the lowest I have seen with 850 @ 1ohm. My main sections are just above 100 per @ 4ohm. Most any Power1000 I have seen does 100 per @ 4ohm. So you will get what you wish for.Definetly, the little 2 and 4ch powers are a couple hundred watts different.front/rear i need more than 50w, sub im cool with 800.
Any pics of the birthsheet ?
reason im running 300+ for the comps is i have some very inefficient speakers (ie BA pro60's which basically eat and **** power barley making any of it into music lol) but as far as sq goes...they sound exactly the same as any other amp ive ever run...alpine, mbquart, ma audio. ive never noticed better sq just from changing amps fwiw. and whether they are on par with the original releases...i dont know i wasnt into car audio back then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gifMy question would be how do they sound? Good SQ and on par with the original releases? I was thinking about a 150 for my subs and a 75 for my fronts/rears, or perhaps go with two 150's despite the high power ratings. 300W x 2 for components seems silly, too much power. I would be running both of them in 2 ohm stereo.
lolzdemand an amp that does rated power, id suggest going with a more honest company like lanzer, or pyle
well ive never heard any super high quality amps like the zapco's and crown etc etc so i cant answer if i would be able to hear a difference. but as far as this amp, i cant tell a difference between it and the others i have listed. i just use what is priced right and puts out good power. i rely on my speakers for good sq, unless my amp has some horrible ammount of THD its all good with me.I can certainly tell the difference in quality amps, you should hear the old school Orion XTR 100 & 200/NT 100 & 200 dual mono blocks. Pretty rare though.
I could easily hear the difference over the Orion XTR-475 and GSX-300 that I had prior to getting them. But at $1200 a pair used not to many people are ready to make that jump.
The low price for them makes me want to give them a try, perhaps the 75 would be plenty for the front/rear and the 150 should be hefty enough for the subs.
