Rockford 2500.1-bdcp Led meters

Hello peeps, does anyone have experience with these amps that can help me out? I set my gains with a dd-1 but the meter still goes red on songs with hard bass at higher volumes. Is this ok or am I clipping since the meter is blue then turns red when a deep bass note hits?
i have couple off these amps going in to the red is not a sign of clipping, when output indicator is in the red just means max output.

I thought that would be big for 2 SA 12's. Sundown recommends 2.0-2.25 cu ft. for one SA 12 ported. The port is on the small side because I wanted it to still be pretty musical. The port is in the middle of the box with at least 7 inches away from the back wall. Subs and port are on the same plane forward firing in trunk. I can barely get my rearview mirror to move with this setup. I don't think the box is the problem
Yeah my mistake there I was thinking 5-5.5^ft. but that's because I just finished up a box for 2 DD 3500's & my head was stuck in DD mode lol - Are your subs moving pretty good when you crank it up? My single SA-12 makes the top of my dash dance on lows from the trunk of my GP sedan... All of my mirrors are completely useless while I'm playing music... Check your final load impedance with a DMM and see where you're at, if I was you though I think I'd wire the subs down to 1 ohm and set your gain with a DMM to around 1800 rms...(Just don't lay into them hard yet if they're not yet broken in) Also if your subs are firing forward, I would seal off the trunk, otherwise just fire back and I bet it will sound better...

Subs have only been played for around 3 or 4 days. Do SA's loosen up and get louder with more use? They are quite stiff right now. Anyways I will wire them at 1 ohm and get back to you guys. Thanks for the help so far

Hey guys I'm back. Instead of wiring at 1 ohm I figured I would shorten the power and ground wires. I was able to snip off about 7 feet total of the 0 gauge wire and it has made a pretty good difference. Now it hits harder and cleaner and its still at 4 ohms

You must of did something else in the process. Maybe you had a bad ground.

Yes, at first I ran a short 0 gauge wire (about 1 foot) to a big bolt under the seat (sanded for metal contact). Now I still have it like that but added a wire from the front battery back to that same bolt. I was unsure if this would be good enough but it seems like it got the job done
