Rock the house?

No I wouldn't get them my neighbor has a set of polk audio LSi25 towers with the built in subs and it shakes not only the living room "size is 25ft tall by 25ft wide by 17ft long" but also rattles most of the house.

If you really want something like that, a Klipsch Heritage speaker like a Cornwall, Forte, or KG4 would be a much better choice than a PA speaker.

A pair of Cornwalls would probably run you $400 or so on Craigslist with some careful hunting.

That isn't a PA speaker, I don't think.

I think it would be a different approach...definitely not an audiophile thing, but I think it would be something to consider for SQL-HT.

According to avs, you will still need a sub as many of them x-over at ~50 Hz. You have another sub for 20 - 50...sounds weird, but it's what some reccomend.
Common with MANY speakers. Hell, my speakers go down to 32ish and I have my RLP-12 crossed at about 35hz. You would be shocked sometimes how large drivers aren't designed for deep bass.
