RMS wattage of a RE MT

I still can't believe you did that to a sub like an MT...
and with the right enclosure sizes, you can kill any sub.
the sub was shipped to Scottie from another competitor...it was an 18, he needed it to be a 12. why not enjoy destroying it instead of just knifing it right off?

inhumanacura and i were able to make an MT 15 smoke with only 1kw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Good thang i snatched that DP 15 from you before you guys done some weird stuff to it

I think steve was running his 18 off of 800 watts for a while if I remember right and he said it got it moving pretty good. I would look to send it between 1000 and 2000 watts daily...won't harm it, and they're supposedly pretty efficient so you shouldn't need a ton of power to get it going.
They are not efficient at all. The last time we had an MT15 in our crx we push it with 4KW to get it moving. I agree with everybody above, go with the XXX for daily, I don't think you need 150+ db and 5000W amp for a daily car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Depends on the suspension you get...

I ran my 18" off of 500 watts...Dave did 700 watts...we both came to the same conclusion...it's a loud *****...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

No issues there. The amp will output depending on the speaker's impedance rating. Are you using a component x-over or is only the tweeter with x-over?
