RL-s demo

That's sarcasm for the less-quick among us.

And as for the mounting gasket, that's hilarious. At least try to distance yourself from the LA Storm series //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Even if the product itself doesn't...

i got sarcism part, just the part if he's reffering it to ndm. mike didn't have the right pen to doodle his signature on my rl-s...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

btw, i'll add my input to this sub since i recently got one. sq is honestly the best i've heard! it has a very low hollow sound and excellent transients. i've owned quite a bit of quality subs (uberwoofer, brahma, rl-p, avalanche, koda, and xxx) and this is by far my favorite. however, the single 4 ohm voice coil and low effeciency is kinda of a bummer, but i know the lmt topology is partly the limiting factor on that part. it's currently in a 5 cubes sealed enclosure, with around 1500wrms being sent to it. the output was a bit louder in a 2.5 cubes @ 28Hz enclosure, however the low end extension and sound quality wasn't as good as in the 5 cubes sealed. i'll get a better review and pics of up some other time.

best sq you've ever heard?
that's a pretty hefty statement.
as most of you know, sq is based on opinion. based on the perfomance of pervious subs i've used, i feel the rl-s has best replicated my collection of musical tracks i use for sound quality comparisons. again, this is opinon based and what sounds good to me might not sound good to you.

as i said in my lat post, i feel the rl-s best replicates my collection of musical tracks. i have no proof of how flat of a response it currently has as i have yet to get a rta on it or run a frequency response test with some sort of metering device. but from going from what i've heard so far, it's one of the more accurate subs i've used.

Man i love the fact that it's a SQ beast BUT......

There are a few things that are against it for me

- 4 ohm....... Gonna b expensive powering this thing

- 5-10cf sealed for 1x 15"......... That is just too much space for one sub in a car/truck.

I can't say it's worth the $529.

The videos don't really do it justice either.

Even if i could afford the Amps and 2x 15"s, I don't think what i'd get in 10cf would be worth the trouble.

Better off with 2-4 15" RLps.

SQL is what i want.
