Rl-p's, SI Mag, or what?

I've been planning buy two 12" Rl-p's for a little while now. But I think single subwoofer set-ups are sessi. I can go up to about 4ft^3 for the enclosure, and I have about 1600 watts to play with. Also, the budget is about $450 maybe a little more.

Would two Rl-p's 12's be my best bet, or maybe a single 15" SI mag, or 15" Brahma. Would anything from RE work well for my needs?

[EDIT]

I'm looking for what would give me the most output, but still have near the same sound quality as a mag or a rl-p.

I'm a moron.

Im going to be biased towards the Rl-ps because of obvious reasons...but I just heard an SI mag yesterday and it was very very nice...all of those listed are great choices. Thats going to be a hard decision man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

well i have had rl-p's and now a mag and i think i would go with the rl-p's. little cheaper, and with your space you can make a nice ported box for them and prolly have more output then the mag, while maintaining the same sq

Was it that Magnum in that rigged box in that truck?

You cannot go wrong with either the Brahma or the Mag. Is it the older Brahma that handles 1500 watts or the newer model that handles 600 watts. That would be a big factor.

I've been leaning towards the Rl-p's. I would think a single 15" would have a hard time matching the output of the two 12's. But I'm a n0ob, and I haven't heard very many not-mainstream-subs in person.

brahma's and mags can get loud in a good ported box, but i think the rl-p's would have more output, not alot though, and still give you as good of sq as either of those

Thanks for the offer bro. While it's tempting, I really shouldn't spend any more on subs right now.

old and new brahmas are both rated to do 600rms...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Old mag or new one? The new ones are LEAPS and bound past the original two //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I do however agree that with the space you have 2 12" RL-p will be better suited for more output and similar SQ.

Shut up you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
