2 12in l7 vs 1 15in L7

Right now I have 1 06 12in L7, powered by a MD2, I wanna get louder but i dont want to give up alot of room, because just for my single enclosure I'm using 3.5 cubes Net, and If I buy another L7, my box would probally be around 7.5+ cubic ft.

I know its more cone area with 2 12's, but I was wondering would 2 12in L7's be significantly louder than a single 15 l7?

nah, i wouldn't think so... not to your ear anyways... put the 15 in a big ported box and you'll gain over the 12 without losing too much room

Thats what I'm thinking, I'll have it in like a 5.5 cb ft enclourse.

2 12's should kill the 15 in output.

when i bought my two 12inch L7's a freind of mine bought a 15inch l7. he had a kicker 1200.1 runnin his and i had a rockford 10001bd. mine was always louder. plus they took the watts better. just because you can split watts between two subs instead of havin to throw them all at the one 15. plus L7's will blow no problem when runnin over the reccomended watts to them.

I was just couldnt decide between two 12's or 1 15, because I know the both will be loud as hell, but I'm just going to do 2 12's probally

Just go with 2, they will be much louder. If you want to get lower, get the 15 though
