Rl-p Question

Well, I will most likely be going sealed, as I am working in a std. cab s10, and I don't think I'll have enough room to go ported and give it the space it needs. Besides, in that small of an environment, it will be plenty loud and I'm going for SQ anyway.

Does anybody know what the magnet width on the Rl-p is?? If anybody knows and feels like taking the time, I need some help designing an enclosure. I don't feel like paying the local shop $175 to build one for me;)

honestly....I suggest going with the RL-i 10. in a std. Cab S-10 you arent going to have the room to get a properly sized box for a 12 in there, and still keep your comfort level. The RL-p mounting depth is 6.7 or so inches, I barley fit that in my Reg, Cab silverado.
In a standard cab S10, I would definitely agree with going a different route than the Rl-p.

my 2 drivers with 800 a peice dont even get warm after bumping for a while, i bet they could take more power without a problem
800 watts RMS with tones got the RL-P pretty warm here...

I tested that amp a while back at a show... and Im betting you really don't have 1.6kw on tap from it...

please don't take it personal.. but from side testing woofers because people say ____________ woofers can take __________ watts has shown me that alot of people don't have the power they think they do, and that makes for dead woofers when they are actually tested at the levels people think they can handle..

so I'm gonna make it more of a point for me to help inform people about that from now on..
