I can't comment on the rl-p but I had a q 12" and I loved it. I know there are a lot of good reviews on each sub.

ya i owned a q myself, and as a matter of fact it was blazzinb's ol q...i was exceptionally surprised when i heard it off just the 750.1

You'll be happy with the RL-P as it's a solid sub. I've only tried them ported and SQ was very good. Q would get louder, but I assume that's not a concern...

I had 2 of them in new condition, i loved it, i played it for a few hours then decided to go with something smaler, i must say i was quite impressed with the way it sounded.

Rl-p motor with Fi parts makes one hellova woofer.
