RL-i 8 in an F-150

My friend recently bought a 2005 Ford F-150 crewcab and he was lookin to put a nice little system in it. He asked me what he should get and i told him to take the rl-i 8 out for a test drive. So he wants to get the sub but we can't seem to find a box that will fit. I have looked on crutchfield and ebay for truck boxes but i cant find any for 8's or that have a mounting depth of 6 inches. So if anyone could give me suggestion or plans for a box that we could build would be appriacted.

How much space he has to sacrifice? You can always invert the subs... just depends on the space he wants to sacrifice.

Give us more information, and everyone here can suggest many other things.

Space is a big issue its going under the rear seats of the truck. so there isnt much space. Most boxes i saw had less then 1 cubic feet

if its auto, he could make the box in front of the seat, in the middle

I have never bought anything from them but they do have boxes that fit under the seat. In the least he can get an idea of what he is working with.
