Ripped Ground Wire from decks wiring harness!

Hey guys, I installed my new deck today (it was working great!) I didn't screw it in at first because I had to go to work. I got home tonight and was trying to take the harness out (which gets stuck in there really good!) and I forgot to unscrew the bolt that was grounding my unit - it got ripped straight out of the decks wiring harness!!!

Is there a way to get the wire back into the harness? Or am I stuck buying a new one from the store because of my stupid mistake.

This is my first deck I've ever installed and I feel like a complete dumb *** because of this!!

UPDATE: I stuck my ground wire back into the harness, and it's stuck in there for good now. The only thing is, I think I put it in the wrong hole! Will this matter because it's just the ground wire?

This has not been the best couple of days!!

Break out the soldering iron/solder, or go to www.ebay.com for a new one.

I have soldered them back together before. Rather Simple. Be sure it's not in the wrong hole.

go to c.c u can get a plug for 10-14 from the install bay

does it still have the silver connector at the end? if it does just push it back in, samething happened to my cd3000 & i took another wire & put it in its place.

just bypass the harness and hook the 2 wires up

Did you really just ask this? If you did then you might want to read up a lot before attempting anything else...or take it somewhere before you hurt yourself and or your equipment....sorry if I sound like a dick, this should answer your question as to the importance of your ground wire though.
