is they anyway to take off light scratches off chrome rims let my girl use my truck and she got to close to a curb and rubbed not that bad but looks ugly for me my brother say use steel wool but i dont wanna do that and make it uglier
Steel wool will make things worse. You need a MUCH finer grit abrasive. It depends how deep the scratching is, but a good rubbing or polishing compound might do the trick. If its more severe, you will need to look into a multi-stage approach that involves starting with rougher grits and moving to finer ones for final polishing.

x2, it's really hard to fix scratches on chrome, i'd take it to a reputable shop and ask what they'd suggest. I have the same problem, they're not too bad but my rim guy and detailing guy both said i was screwed. It really does depend how deep they are...

thanks guys for the answers ill just take it to a shop and see what they say like i said it aint deep scratches but its pretty long bout 10 inches along the rim its just gets my pissed just looking at at
Most chrome is actually a multi-layer coating, and once the outer layer is pierced or corroded through, serious pitting is soon to follow. Hopefully those scratches aren't that serious.
