Right type of box for a single RE 12"

Ok, for my dorm room setup, I am going to make a line array, (12 +1 tweet per side). I need a sub now, I have 2 RE 12's sitting around, and I plan on using one of them. I was wondering what size of box would be best for it. I was planning on something around 1.5ft^3 tuned to 28hz. This will have 170wrms thrown at it from the Dayton 240w plate amp from partsexpress.

Does this sound right for box size and tunning, or does it need to be bigger and tuned lower, I'm trying to get it small as possible, since I'm in a dorm room here.

Thanks

-Ryan

i would tune to at least 15-20hz for any sub that will be utilized in a room of sorts, especially since the se and other caraudio subs were not made for ht use.

but you might want to wait for other replies and opinions..
