Do you need a speical DVD player or burner to burn dvds? or which disc should i get

well a regular dvd rom can only read them, not write them.

i know that but how hard is it to copy a DVD movie?

It's easy.

All it takes is a burner, and a program to rip/burn dvd's

You can get a good burner for $40 or so. DVD's are cheap as hell now too...
