Greetings eveyone,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, Administrators please move to correct forum if needed. Thnx.
Anyway, I've been running for yrs a premier head unit and a Dual brand 2 channel amp. I was using sony 6.5 3way coaxial front speakers. They started crackling at very low volume and I got rid of them thinking it was the speakers. Replaced them with a pair of Pioneer 6.5 2way coaxial. Same thing is going on with them now too. It's only on the passenger front door. System is in a 95 Ford escort wagon. I ran my own wires to the front doors as the car harness was damaged to the point it was unusable.
To me it sounds like a pinched signal cable but tried switching rca between left and right channel, no change. Could out be my high output signal on the back of the unit?
Thank you for any input.
