ride quality with lowered vehicle?

Well, to increase handling in a car you kind of have to stiffen the suspensions so that it reacts better with rolling weight while turning and distributes the weight evenly on all the tires, as best as possible. So, it's really hard to get that stiffness and softness at the same time.
As far as lowering, it depends on what kit you get. If you get a good suspension system, it should have the same if not better quality. But if you cheap out, it'll ride horrible.
Exactly. My ride is incredibly smooth it even feels smoother than stock to tell you the truth. I got cheap the first time and it rode like shit:crazy:. So I redid the lowering with the best kit out there imo McGaughys and it rides a million times better.

In my experience the softness and lack of bounce comes from shocks matched to the springs..

my ride didn't get rough till I put 19s with 35series tires. dropped 2.5in on a focus.
We haven't even discussed this either.

The series of tire you gets matter. Low profile = bad ride.

High profile = good ride. At least, in my experience I've noticed that.

I have an 03 Gmc Sierra with a 4/6 McGaughys kit 2in coil, 2 inch Spindle in the front and Flip kit in the back with shock ext.. And it rides awesome. If your going to lower do it right the first time I learned that the hard way.
pics?

Here you go.

my s10 is lowered ~3"+ in the front, 4" in the rear. (done by springs up front, and blocks in the back). It rides bad, straight up bad. i also have 20" wheels with 255/35 tires, so "low" profile. both the low pro's and drop are causing a rough ride for me.

next truck, im going with stock suspension maybe a leveling kit up front and thats it.
