riddle me this!

Just get one 18, one 15, one 12, one 10, and one 8...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
This thread should answer your question, sticky at the top of this forum, maybe you missed it? http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31984
no i didnt miss it, why else would i ask this question. u guys arent too savy. im dissapointed.

that doesnt matter! all that matters is the power handling, and their will be an equal number of coils, but an odd number of subs.

THAT THREAD NO LONGER HAS THE PICS....pretty much makes it worthless as a sticky the way it was set up.

just thought you should know....

ya im gonna have to jump on the band wagon on this one and suggest in a **** ****** sounding set up, why do you want to go with 1 15 and 2 8's anyway?

and are you running them all off of one amp? i assume yes as you want to know a final impedence.

i could maybe understand if you were doing some kind of 3 way set up, up front with your 8 being your low to mid frequency driver, then with a mid range and a tweeter with the 15 being the dedicated subwoofer for sub bass

otherwise i couldn't see somethign like this actually working

please provide a reasonable theory in why you want this particular set up so myself and appearently everyone else will know exactly why this is your 'ideal' set up

and if you do have a very reasonable conclusion to this kind of set up then you may be very educated and likely exceed my knowlegde in this area, then this being the case, my question to you is why would you ask such a question as the final impedence of 4 voice coils or how the power handling of each driver will effect the final performance

nope just being difficult.

OK, instead of repeating that this is gay, Im just gonna answer your question. If you have a DVC sub where the coils are 4 ohms each and two SVC subs with 4 ohm impedence each than no, you cannot reach a final load of 2 ohms mono.
