Thats still pretty confusing.

Are you asking if you have a sub with 4 coils what would the ohms have to be to equal a 2 ohm load?

i found this is possible with a DVC 2 ohm sub, and 2 SVC 4 ohm subs.

each coil would get the same power, but the DVC sub would get twice the power, obviously.

now if my amp was 1 ohm stable, this wouldnt be an issue =D

i already own one sub.

it doesnt make sense to get 2 or 4.

i want one 15 and 2 8's.

1 15 and 1 8 will not work that great unless their is very uneven power handling betweem them.

a 15 that can take 500 watts and sound good, and an 8 that can take 250 watts and sound good is perfect. equalling 4 voice coils. the amount of subs isnt that important, the final impedance is, as well as the load between each sub.

is this why no one has 3 subs? cuz it is gay? sure thanks, i wont ask for your opinion again.
