Yeah, 240 owners are very proud of their treasures. Hell, im swapping a 95 motor into my 91 and adding mods and such while its all down and easy to work on, and its costing me over 1400 including the price of the motor after all the mounts, header, fluids and other crap associated... and dont regret a bit of it.

also, i did 130mph with a honda accord '92 with an imported used STOCK japenese accord '92 engine (50 000km) and was the most fun car to drive, was quick, handled like a champ, all stock I just swapped the engine to a "new" used one.

also, pontiacs gran am and all these are pretty heavy and arent effiecient at all....

And I can't believe this thread got revived the last day or two with several more pages. This type of argument is on every car forum but I think it may be particularly irritating on here do to the general ignorance and lack of knowledge outside of audio equipment. I'd say 8 out of 10 of the members here don't have a clue when it comes to performance modifications and potential. This bs should really just come to an end, seeing as how all of the common weak standpoints and unrealistic comparisions have arisen already. Quit fueling the ignorance.
