But anyways black jesus, Youre trying to compare motors that are in completely different leagues here. Sure you can pull 400 ponies from an LS7 really easily... but how about from an SR20 a 2.0L inline 4? or from a KA24DE? D16? The highest HP ive seen on a KA24DE is 576 RWHP, on stock internals. There have been higher numbers with new internals, but i wont get into that. An LS7 is more than double the size of a KA24DE, so if we were to double the output of the KA, than your motor would have to produce over 1152 hp at the wheels to be as efficient as the KA in terms of HP to displacement.... on stock internals. Can you do it?

thats really not a fair comparison either. and you'd be hard pressed to get a civic as fast round a track for 100k. without it being uncomfortable as shit.

without reading 8 pages on kids drag racing stock '88 civic dx's:

cars with loud mufflers , windows tinted with product decals , and kids driving them from the backseat cause there front seat is so ****in reclined due to the fact thier car is still slow and dont want to be seen in it = rice ftl.

normal people driving an economical automobile for thier cost = ftmfw!

point = some of it is nice , but people do go very overboard without putting anything else into concideration (driving enviroment , daily driver?, how ****ing loud and ghey looking its going to be)

lol. Should be in LACK of performance, needs repair. Hardcore 240 enthusiasts are a different breed. Theyre really cool. Check out http://www.zilvia.net http://www.club240.com/forums and http://www.240sxforums.com im a member of all of those. I get a motor for 200 bucks, but it has 98k on it. My 240 is a 16 year old car with the heart of a 10 year old. lol.
