5-speed... yes it does....with room to spare... I bought it from a third party, to be honest, I assume it is stock based on what I have been told by mechanics (not necissarily good ones until recently) and people whom assume to know about Honda's.ermmm...A prelude has the gears to do 130?
you are right, bold, and stupid, of me not to clarify my thoughts on the pontiac vs. honda race I had just participated in the previous weekend... but not incorrect, (I always get called out on this and its my fault for responding while at work--if it gets busy I have to lay aside my thoughts and come back when the calls slow down)Eugenics posted: the h23a is an alright motor but that was a very bold statment to make. bold and incorrect.
I do believe, if you read my earlier reply, I clarified that we were talking about the sunbird to grand prix series...my sis owned a sunbird, my boyfriend a grand am, and myself a Grand prix and a Bonneville (hardest car to get in and out of) for four short months until I found I got pregnant and bought a van. (a TransSport Van for da family--but that doesnt count in this thread)..IMO..they were all shit. Period....
Well, In my experience you will get your wish...go ahead and push that pontiac...it's gotta get to the repairshop somehow. BTW...has your odometer started spinning rapidly yet, adding on miles? What about the ignition not accepting the factory key? Oh, and the fuel injectors fartin out ALL AT ONCE ....Wait, it will...my grand prix AND a TransSport van I had BOTH started all their shit after about 48K to 50K or so.quoted from Black_Jesus: i stick whole heartedly behind my statement.id rather push my pontiac than drive a honda.
I will NEVER OWN another Pontiac... didnt like them then, dont like em now. Is that okay I dont like a vehicle you do? Or is everyone wrong because they dont see the world the way you do?
same as the ol chevy vs. ford debate.... the debate doesnt piss me off, and no, I dont have the fastest car (I cant validate $10K for a top of the line fuel injection/Nitrous system.) But it is mine and I own the title, and I dont have to constantly take it to the garage like I did with every pontiac I ever owned. (why so many?--I listened to my stupid *** husband that thought Pontiacs were good cars--women dont know anything right?) Honda (and Toyota) engines are very well known for being able to turn out 200K miles and still run. All-be-it they have their own mechanical failures too--(Honda = timing chains) but I am not replacing an engine every 150K (if your lucky with that pontiac) miles.
again...this is all just IMO... and some from personal experience. Don't deny what you cant prove. COme take a ride and I will show you how quickly I can get my car to 130+ anytime babe. And I dont have to have a peenis to do it! LOL....
