RF 1001bd + 17v = good/bad?

Trying too get help from rockford fosgate via email is ****ing ridiculous so that lands me here. How would a RF 1001db run at 17 volts? I plan on bridging two of them too get ~2000+ wrms.

If they have been modded that is great, now the power supply can handle a little more input voltage. The real question is, how are you going to build the 17 volt charging system and batteries?

It's a loosely regulated power supply. It'll stop letting current in at 14.4 volts.

So I would asume that K&B Audio can mod them?
