I have taken issue with the fact you claim carbon dating isn't accurate for more than a few thousand years. If the Earth is ~6000 years old according to fundamentalist doctrine how can there be records older than that by your own sources!?

I never said I believed in evolution. I just said your justification was flawed ie your view that the conservation of energy and the laws of Physics would be violated by evolution ....which would clearly be false. BTW the discovery channel is not a credible source...sorry you learned something from American Choppers which was wrong. Peer reviewed journals are an ok source, and even then they aren't always 100% reliable.

Looking for almost 2000 years, found nothing. But let's think logically. This dude went around, gathered a male and a female of every species, and somehow caged them, fed them, built this enormous boat (out of wood that came from where??), ensured all those animals were actually a breeding pair, survived this whole flood ordeal through 40 days without a single animal or person dying, and then populated the earth? Like, what??????? I mean really, if I told you that some dude did that even with today's technology, would you believe that? Nope. So what's the difference here?

“The Gospel is very simply Jesus Christ. Who among us is tired of hearing of the Lord Jesus Christ? He is the Son of God, the Son of Man. Sent into this world to be born of a virgin that He might be sinless, that He might be born under the law, to keep the very law that you and I break day after day, after day. The perfect, sinless, Son of God has perfectly met all the requirements of God’s law, and is ready to give His righteousness to us that we would have a perfect standing before God. That He went to a cross; there He was lifted up to die. There upon that cross, the sins of everyone who would believe in Him were transferred to Him. And Him who knew no sin God made to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God. The great exchange of the cross—the worst about me laid upon Him, the best about Him now to be laid upon me as He shed His blood upon that cross.

He reconciled sinful man to holy God. There is no other way for us to have a relationship with an infinitely holy God except through the blood of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. And it was by his sin-bearing, substitutionary, vicarious death upon that cross, it was as if He took sinful man in one hand, and holy God in the other hand and brought the two together through His death. By that death He satisfied the righteous anger of God and appeased His wrath towards all who would believe in Him.

There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. It was through that death that He redeemed sinners out of the slave market of sin, and redeemed us out of the tyranny of Satan’s grip upon our lives. It was by that death that Jesus Christ has provided now salvation free for all who will call upon His name. He was taken down from that cross, He said, “It is finished.” Not I am finished—“It is finished.”

He had completed the mission of salvation that He had come into this world to accomplish. He was buried in the rich man’s tomb and on the third day the power that was inherent in Him—the Son of God—He raised Himself from the dead. He came walking out of that tomb a risen, living, victorious, Savior. He ascended back to heaven, He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, and whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. He is mighty to save to the uttermost all who call upon Him.

To call upon the Lord Jesus Christ is to look away from yourself, to look away from religion, to look away from your church, to look away from your denomination, to look away from your baptism and your church membership, and all of your good works, and to look exclusively to the Lord Jesus Christ.

He says, “Him who comes unto me I will in no wise cast out.” He loves to save sinners. He is the friend of sinners. He came to seek and to save that which is lost. He came not for the righteous, He came for the unrighteous. He is a good physician. He came not for the well but for those who are sick.

Will you tell him this moment what a sinner you are, how sick you are by sin?—that you’re unable to save yourself. Would you call upon Him? Say, Lord Jesus save me. I am a wretched hell-bound sinner, but your grace is being offered to sinners like me. And if you will call upon His name this very moment I promise you by the authority of the word of God that He will save you—that He will save you today. He will wash your sins away. You will be clean and pure from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.

He says, “Come, let us reason together. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red like crimson they shall be white as wool.” If you will call upon Him, He will give you His righteousness. It is a free gift. There is nothing you can do to earn it. There’s nothing that you can do to merit it. He will clothe you with the perfect garments of His righteousness. And as God looks upon you there will be a covering for your sin. He will see only the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ covering the entirety of who you are—your sin sick soul. You will find acceptance with God, and one day when you die He will take you into the very presence of the Father and present you faultless before the throne of God.

He says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.” Peter said there is salvation in no other name. For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Paul says there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. Who gave himself, a ransom for all a testimony born at the proper time.

If you turn away from this free offer of the gospel there is no hope for your soul. You will be trampling underfoot the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to say to you hell cannot be hot enough for you to hear this message, to hear this truth, and to refuse the Lord Jesus Christ who suffered and bled and died upon Calvary’s cross to save sinners.

If you refuse the gospel your blood is on your own hands and you will suffer in hell forever under the torment of the wrath of God. You will be among the torment of the damned, and you will never find relief for your soul.

But today the gates of paradise are swung open to you, and you may come in and you may enter. And Jesus says, “Come unto Me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me for you will find rest for your souls. For My burden is easy and My yoke is light.” How hard it is for you to continue to live a life of sin. How glorious it would be to come into the yoke of the Lord Jesus Christ and to receive His salvation. This is a decisive moment in your life. You may never have an opportunity like this again where the gospel is so clearly being presented to you, and so I beg you, I urge you, if you are not saved, if you are not committed, to this moment commit your life to Jesus Christ. He will receive you, He will save you, He will wash you, and one day He will take you to heaven where you will spend all eternity with Him.

This is the greatest offer that has ever been made to anyone on this earth. This is the glorious good news of salvation in Jesus Christ. So I would urge you this moment if you have never believed upon Jesus Christ, in your heart of hearts to say, Lord Jesus I am a sinner, and you are a Savior; I am a great sinner, you are a great Savior, and I now this moment as an act of my will, I commit all that I am to you. If you have never done that, I would urge you to do so this very moment.

People (and history) commonly confuse evil deeds by men as the will of the church. Evil men use the church for their own greed.
God's commandments are simple. The Bible is a fairly recent account of history (people belive in our accuracy analyzing 250 million year old dinosaur bones but balk at a 2000 year old text of high historical accuracy).

No one discounts Christ lived and died. His life is accepted by all sides. People will argue if he was the Son of God. That's fine, that's what separates Christians from non. Our calendar is based on his life. Ask an aethist what their date is, because they shouldn't claim the Roman calendar.

Those who accept Christ as their everlasting saviour, are commanded to live a life worthy of his commandments. Humans error. Humans make mistakes. Christ promised unconditional love. Christ offers forgiveness. Who wouldn't want that?

If your Children error do you abandon them? I love my daughters and will always forgive them, even if future actions land them in prision.

There is evil in the world. Good and evil are at a battle for our souls. Evil appears to be winning but I've read the book and Christ triumphs at the end. These days, watching humanity is like watching a movie for which you've already read the book. All of this is expected.

The main issue people take with the bible are semantics. Sady, many let those details prevent them from seeing the bigger picture. Salvation doesn't require you have a stance on the age of the world because we do not know.

Faith in science is a larger leap than faith in Christ. We have no proof in the age of things, just highly improbable coincidences that are arguments against intelligent, Divine design.

Maybe we're all wrong. Faith is the belief in something despite concrete proof. We will never know everything for sure, until we die.

The bible is magnificent. I am thankful for being shown the gift of knowledge regarding bible truths. If anyone sincerely desires to be saved, they will seek Him. I know I am not perfect, and I don't always do things with Our Lord first in thought, but usually I pray immediately when I remember. I'm a father, brother, son, friend, recently my stepson made me a grandpa, and now recently in the last 3 years, I can add servant of Jesus by my willingness to help pull people out of the fire and putting faith first. This last few days have been a trial as I had to watch my father fight for his life after a car accident. I prayed everyday and went to sit by his bedside every chance I could. Those precious times in our lives put things in perspective. He is doing much better and has a long road ahead.

And the notation that we come from apes or even Neanderthals is totally bullish. So let me see you bring up a legitimate argument. Because you and just about everyone here failed to provide any creditable information that we did infact evolve from a single cell organism. its simply a FACT we have NEVER observed such a situation. is that not transparant enough? so go right ahead call me stupid. but by the looks of it i have enough intellegance to provide a effective argument and you cannot prove me wrong,

first i was full of **** on carbon dating. i said no way in hell its accurate enough to know exacly how old we or dinosures are esp in 100000+ years and they even "claim millions of year". get real.. i provided sereval sorces that back my point

then i argued we didnt evolve from apes. AGAIN i providing evidance that the changes of us doing so is very very unlikely. matter of fact its is strongly suggesting we are very unique and it is so astouding hard to prove we actually evolved from any other living orginisum we simply d not know and are every year being lead to the fact we might have been created uniquely.

again im going to provide you information that makes me think logically that eveloution is real but within its LIFES boundries..

that carbon dating isnt nearly as accurate as we where lead to believe. in fact just in the last 10 years it was extended to about 10-50k years of possible high accuracy.

that the laws we understand and are put in place i did take them out of context but we are simply lacking hte information to creat new laws on other subject matter but they seem to follow the fundementals with current laws in physics. certinally biogily is differnret in nature but the fundements seem to be similar. after all where made of of electrctrical charges and we are actually made of up of alot of "air". which the spacing between the nucleious and the atoms rings are composed of air inbetween them..

untill someone can provide information im sticking by waht i said. even it some of it was barble because its been a long *** time since i really discussed and looked into it so be it. show me some proof instead of calling me stupid cuz i culd easily do the same.

as far as the conservation of enegry. I totally under stand the vast different between it and genitics.

but the logic remains that these fundementas are revelant in all physical forms of like.

there is only so much input in a genitic coding. My point is every LIFE form has its competley unique DNA makeup.

these fundemental building blocks would require an addional block or alteration of that block to have such drastic changes in order to create a NEW LIFE form. which is exactly what human are as comprade to ANYTHING else man knows of..

IE humans chromosozes are completely different and in order for the to be changed to match that of a chimp you would have to have a genitically developed alteration. IE you cant put 10 in and get 11 out simply from elevoution as the theory suggest. so with a single cell Organism you cannot get a trillion cell orginisium by "luck" as thats pretty much what the theory states.. it vilolates the laws of consorvation and the laws of therminal dynamics which say. in an isolated system one cannot create new enegry/mass/matter.

SO that being said without single cell Organism contacting another Organism that was compatible to it in order to rearange its genetic structure(RNA NOT DNA) to form a more complex one it is physically impossible..

several people call me crazy dumb or foolish. which i very well may be but not one provides any FACT BASED information..

souldrop. i understand im using the law out of character. and i know its null and void in that sense but from all the discoverys in all areas of life thse fucmdemental laws do apply. you can make something out of nothing and you cannot naturally expand anything without a input based alteration.
