Revived Car Audio Guy

Hey all,

Once upon a time, I did some cool stuff with my car with very little cash. I ended up getting married and having kids, so the tinkering with my car audio setup fell by the wayside.

Fast forward to now... I'm still married and have kids, but I've got a chance to buy a car (used) and start building my system from the ground up.

I was deep in live sound for as long as I can remember, but took a step back in the last 5-7 years when my web career started taking off. But now I'm longing for a hobby... and car audio is where I came back to.

I'm the type that loves good clean sound. I don't need window rattling bass, but love to feel the kick drum and bass guitar. Crisp highs, clean mids; tight but not overbearing lows.

I hope to glean a lot of info from the forums to get caught up on the latest in decks to speakers and everything in between.

You should have chose high stakes baccarat, it's cheaper.

Seriously though, technology has come a long way and you can do things today for hundreds that you'd have needed to spend thousands on 10 years ago.
