reverse camera caution stays on

I installed a reverse camera to a pioneer p1400 dvd unit. The camera works when put in reverse and camera shuts off out of reverse but the problem im having is no matter what polarity i set it the caution stays on. What could the issue be?

Sounds like the radio is staying in reverse for some reason. Try a hard reboot.

Reset the radio by unplugging it, turned camera on and same thing

disconnect the reverse wire and see what happens

I disconnected from the camera, both video and power plug . The reverse wire is still spliced should i completely cut the power wire?

Same problem caution screen comes on but when i shut the camera option off from the unit it goes away.

Its wierd cause with everything hooked up, camera turns on in reverse and off out of reverse so it seems like its the correct wire that im getting power from. Its grounded, i don't get it

I had the same problem on my kenwood, caution thing goes away when I tap on it. So it wasn't really a problem, I was just an idiot lol
