as with any company . you have to say what you sell is better than anyone else's stuff that's just the way that you make sells so say tomorrow you started your own company and you make subs amps or even brake pads . .you will always say that yours are better right .

Typically, yes. Although not in all cases. If I know a product I have is inferior to another one that I dont carry its being compared to, Ill say it. Whether I make a sale or not. The customer will usually appreciate your honesty more than your need to make a buck. This is spoken from experience on both sides of the coin.

yeah i work at good guys, its hard when somone comes in sya theyjust came form circuit city and they heard l7's. trying to push a w3 over an l7 is tuff. espically when i think the l7 is much better woofer. also when i have to shop(check prices at competitors)i talk to guy at best buy and circuit city if i ask anything about sound quality slopes or anyhting like that they just get confused. i said i wanted there best sq deck they had the guy tried to sell me a jenson deck:uhoh: and the guy at best buy was a lil better at least he offered me an alpine 9851.

The CC that I worked at doing sales(and installs here and there) was the #4 CC roadshop in the US. Everyone knew their shit, now I'm going to a different one for school and wow... just wow. I understand why some people don't like cc and bb.

i work at shop that sells JVC,Memphis, Sony, Dual,Clarion, Audiobahn, Alpine,Pioneer......Its **** hard to sell Alpine over Dual, especially when your customers want Boss and Crunch and Power Acoustik......(plus my Boss doesn't want to invest money in good quality products) You've gotta sell what you can sell. I know myself that I dont know half the things I need to, but I'm learing with the help of this forum and my MECP books I'm getting there. I dont have to worry about people coming in asking me what the "best" sq deck I have. All they ask is "What the best sub is" F*cking Dumba$ses
