worked perfect
and just for reference for the group... they were barely moving in the beginning because Jim wanted to hear them subjectively, before I objectively hammered him.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
the song is "It's Like That" from Mariah Carey

??what is it A dual 4 ohm sub ? or A 2 ohm sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif :eyebrow:one more thing I forgot to mention about the Mach 5's..
the coils on these drivers dcr pretty low... 2.3 ohm per coil... I'd call it a nominal dual 2 ohm driver myself, at the very least a 3 ohm nominal unit..
actual impedence during testing was quite low... barely over 1 ohm actual.. for 2 dual 4 ohm nominal drivers in parallel, I'd expect to see an actual impedence out of the impedence spike area, of low to mid 2 ohm range..
so pick your amplifiers accordingly.. I will say we tested a single 12 on an amp rated for 4 ohm mono.. and didn't hit protection... so may be fine in some alignments.. I'll know more in future testing...

But not as bad as the four Mag 15's he had in there for a short period. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifThe 8's hurt worse...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
