resonant frequency on a explorer thanks if you can help

hey does any one have a 2 door ford explorer , that knows the resonant frequency. i have to go to a meca event, in 2 weeks i dont even have anything in the truck yet, i just got it, but i figure i get a head start on this,, thanks for the help

well typically you would tune it to that frequency (to achieve the highest SPL), but of course 55hz is good tuning for daily purposes. just for comps. thats when interchangeable ports come in handy...

idk, maybe youtube some explorer bass comp vids and see what they say about box tuning (if anything) and that may give you some idea. roe has some vids too.

ppl may not like to disclose as it gives an edge in comps.

Being as ken states 55, and he competes, he may be closer then my guess.

it didnt seem to make much of a difference in the peak frequency although the dBs went down a little
