can i get a general area of my car's res freq by knowing someone else's res freq that has a car that is exactly/close to mine?i have a 86 jeep cherokee and i was wondering if anyone out there knew their res freq so i can get a general idea.i asked the shops round me and i couldnt find a mic.is there a place in the bay area that has a mic i can use?i havent asked best buy or CC but i didnt think to.do they have mic's?someone help please

you can buy a cheap one at radioshack that goes up to like 130 db's and just watch for a peak.. that will give a general idea.. Its really hard to hit the exact spot without a good mic...

well what about my idea of someone w/ a similar jeep that knows their res freq,wouldnt that be similar to mine?would that give me a general area to work with?or is EVERY car different.
