resonant engineering vs Elemental designs

ive been looking at the resonant engineering RE or SX model subs. does anyone know the prices for them? anyone own them or have heard them that will vouch for their sound quality? what about ED's OV.2 and KV.2 series? out of all 4 subs im asking about which has better sound quality?

I just purchased an RE SE 10" last week for $165 shipped. The RE series I believe is under $100, but they're on back order for a month. The SX model is a step above the SE. Try searching, I remember coming across a price list before.

I just barely installed my sub last night and have only listened to it for 5 min. So far, I really like it!

if you are going for SQ then i would go for either the Ov.2 or the RE SE...

RE's SX is more of an entry level SPL driver... the K series from eD is just

their entry level sub...

ive owned the SE and the original O series... the O is more aggressive of

a driver while the SE is more smoothed out of a driver...

either way you cant go wrong i would say...

Havent heard any of the ED subs, but the o series is supposed to be quite nice. Ive owned an RE HC, and now own a XXX, and have heard a few SXs. Very good subs all around, youll be pleased.

SX's have decent sound quality for how loud they get, and that's LOUD....i got mines in a really small box @ like 35+Hz or so (dont know exact tuning), but I'll let you know how it sounds in a 2.5 cubes @ 32 Hz fairly soon.

the Ov2 doesn't have too much in common with the flat cone O. it outperforms it in both spl ans sq //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

products are decent because they arent their own.

and if there is ever a problem with them, just throw the product away, youll thank youself for avoiding their CS.

I have had great expirence with there CS.....

I would recomend the Ov2 if u want a sq sub that is still loud, mine sound amazing and get loud. I havent heard an SX but from what i have read it is more towards spl.
