yeah but the purpose of having a group buy is to help those who maybe can't purchase items at the normal prices. Granted yes some people do what this person has, but I'm pretty sure group buys are not intended for people to pay less then the normal prices and turn right around and make a profit.

adire takes people down for putting items FS up like that. if they think its harming their local dealers, or is in violation of their trademark (resonant engineering) and\or copyrights, they have the right to make the seller remove the name of their company\product from the auction.

good luck selling it then.

no...they cant...

any ebay ad could be considered damaging to a local dealer...but what is ebay...its a medium to resell things people dont want...thats what hes doing. And what local dealer is it hurting? the one in CA near the ebay HQ's?...the area the seller is from?...the area the buyers are from?...no arguement...

copyright infringement...yea...the loose definition of the word...he took the pics off of the RE website...but if uve been to ebay lately...there are THOUSANDS prolly MILLIONS of ads that have manufacturer pics or pics straight from the world wide web...hell ive done that a number of times...if ebay were to enforce that theyd have to take down all those ads and prevent ads like that from ever surfacing again...too expensive, and it hurts their business too much...wont happen

leave the dude alone, hes making some dough...thats what this **** country was founded on...make tons of money and then live happy, or dont make enough and live like shit...if u havent noticed, that how goes it...ive dont it before, i would have done the same thing had i had money to do it when RE's buy came out....ill prolly do it the next time a group buy comes out...

had he taken his own pictures...u guys would have NO arguement whatsoever...and the only one you have, the pictures, is pretty weak...and in the long run, i doubt RE cares...they still made money on the buy..believe me, i know. And instead of one guy hounding 6 subs...6 different people in 6 different parts of the world will have them, getting the RE name out there...thats what the buy was for...

The purpose of a group buy is so that a mass of people can get a product at a discounted price. The seller of the products can still make some profit margin on the lower price because of the volume at which they are selling.

That being said, whose to say dealers & retailers dont partake in "groupbuys"? E.G. - Have you ever seen an item for sale "Quantities 1-10 will cost $5.99. If you purchase 10 or more, each will be $5.20..."
