Reset navigation on pioneer d1

Picked up a d1 on a steal around town and I need to reset the navigation for it but I have no idea how to do this can anyone help???

What do you mean by reset the gps? Do you mean that when you turn it on, it shows you somewhere on the map that you arent? If this is the case, just go drive. it can take a few minutes to pick up on enough satellites to triangulate your location. on my d2, thats happened a few times that its been unplugged, but quickly straightened itself out after a few miles.

haha welcome to the wonderful world of pioneer. id say chances are youre up for a new dvd drive soon. same thing happened to me and I had to replace the dvd drive, as well as the touch screen.

i got it working now but i cant actually put in addresses idk how

do you mean when youre driving or just simply cant put in an address? is it bc the touch screen is out of calibration, are the letters all blocked out, or do you mean you dont know how?
