4.) Anyone with a half assed mind can look at the former RE products and tell its less bling which usually means more output at a similar cost. If they are a retard and cant tell what good build quiality looks like that is their problem. 1.) You are right, Kicker is not bad stuff, I personaly like RE products better head to head with Kicker at teh same price points.
Also the fact that everytime I mention to Kicker headquaters all the product on
ebay at dealer cost, they tell me they dont know were it is coming from. I believe this is BS because I can go to KNET.com and see the serial # for every Kicker sub or amp that has came trough my store. This causes me to be somewhat unhappy.
2.) Yes, the name sells it, but the packaging helps. Flashy colors and shiny materials grab attention.
3.) Yes, that is why RE is trying to get more product out. You have to sell it to people before they can bump it.
4.) We do deal with alot of people with 1/2 *** minds. Build quality means nothing to some people. I have had people come in with boss subs that weighed 40lbs, and they look at any sub that weighs less as being inferior. It is not hard for a company to dress up a sub with cast baskets and big magnets and 4000 watt stickers.
We have a vehicle with 1 18XXX and a vehicle with4 SX12s. They wow our customers, but you cant always do a demo.
Im not saying that this will double RE sales, I just think it is a Good idea. Definantly a step in the right direction if they want to become a bigger name.
