I've been debating with a 17 year old? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
Nope.i modle the enclosures as best i can to their wants...testing? not much beyond enclosure placement. Either way noah still thinks the only driver ive ever played with is an avalanche.
I just read this entire thread and I'm not surprised with where this thread has gone considering CB popped in. Apparently he hasn't grown up since my first experience with him over on Automotive Forums. As a person who intends to open an audio shop I can sort of see eye to eye with 12r on a lot of his points. You can't only sell stuff you like because you like it. You have to cater to a broad group of people. As far as RE is concerned I own two SX 15s and I paid 480 for the pair. I don't care what anyone says that is well worth it. I think 480 each would have been worth it. Thats just my $.02.
We can't be playing with our mod banning power this way. End it.
Thanks.LOL, like you havn't before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
Me an CB are the same age, an I also started out (I think with you CB? u might have been around a lil longer) over on AF, an I second what CB had to say about Germanyt(LOL). I consider myself a fairly well knowledgable 17 year old, with alot of leaning and experience ahead of me ( as CB pretty much knows my 'audiophile level') an CB knows more about the tech. aspects (he likes to google alot, loljk), but I still PWNT him in systems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I look carefully at transient responce, sub and port placemement and what has worked best in similar vehicles in the past. I fit enclosures where customes want them fitted.you design to the customer's wants meaning what? someone says "i want maximum SPL and i don't care how it sounds." you take and build, rebuild, build, rebuild, then test, re-test, test, re-test, test, re-test then re-test the re-test? i only ask as that's the way you build experience. not to sound like a sack rider but i know of a few peeps on this page that have done that anyone care to guess who?
