RE's new packaging

I got some new SE15s in today and to my surprise they were not in plain brown boxes. They even had a manual that covers all the subs(never got anything from RE before that had a manual, or even T/S parameters). That explains one part of the price increase(dealer not MSRP). I know they will catch alot of flak from you guys about this, but I think its one more necessary step in the right direction as far as customer service and making it mainstream.

meh, i was happier paying less money and having a big brown box with a wooden crate. and if i needed teach support i could just call and the guy that built the woofer answered the phone.

No, they come double boxed, inside a plain brown box. That is how most companies ship thier subs. Keeps thiefs away and protects the display box.

In a retail situation sometimes people are scared to by products like that. Imagine some young kid that comes in wanting to see something eye catching, that has always heard thet RF, KIcker, JL is the only way to go.To them brown boxes mean cheap, they feel like I am pushing crap on them

Alot of time people are swayed away from RE because of this,

i really dont care if other people around here use re...i use to only like to use less known brands but honestly as long as re keeps to putting out quality products im going to use them and if they want to change there packaging thats fine by me.
