Guys I built a box from the design on RE's website.
Its 35 inches long, 16.5 wide and 13.1/8 tall. The slot port is 2" & 15/16th inches wide and 12 inches long.
Thats about 3.0 cu ft before subs and tuned to 36 hz. The only problem is the box is not dropping that much. Its pretty loud. I have some air coming out of where the top meets the sides. I dont think I used enough wood glue, but I did use caulking. Any suggestions.
How would it compare to if I went a little bigger like 3.5 cu ft with a 3" port tuned to 33 hz, in theary wouldn't that be less loud?
The subs are facing up to the trunk and the port is facing into the cabin, and the box is all the way back in the trunk. Its far louder this way with the seats down.
