alright guys, you seem to be very helpful thusfar! and now gathering information from my previous post (http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=138835) many people recommended i build my own box.

as im new to this, i have no clue on the specs i should use.

and also proted vs vented.. i want max. bass rather sacrifice little SQ.

im going with these speakers :

Build the to the max recommended,3.5 I think it is(if ya got the room)ported and vented is the same thing,For materials get 1 piece of 4x8 3/4 mdf,wood glue(elemers works well)(or liquid nail or what ever u want to use) 1 /5/8 dry wall screws, 100% clear silicone, and if u want 90 degree clamps for sears....also is that where u plan on buyin the sub, it is cheaper here http://www.hifisoundconnection.com

from my personal exp in the past mo.

i have two s12l5 and 2 kx1200.1:naughty:

i made the box that kicker recommends,ported it

my truck cant take it:crying: the sp is killing it

yesterday built a 1.6 sealed box for them(thats apeice)

now i can listend to my music without my truck falling apart
