Repub debates tonight, Paul slammed

I really dont see it as being that bad, I have a roof over my head, I can go to bed at night and not worry about being blown to bits like 3/4 of the world. I can go to the store and buy some food. Sure gas is a bit high, but its still 1/2 as much as it is in Europe. Does **** that my best friend is in Iraq, but hey he was taught a skill and has a job.

Its definately not great, but I know for sure it could get a hellova lot worse

Fox news consistantly slaughters all other news channels in both viewership and ratings. Fox also consistantly comes up as the least-biased news organization when compared to CNN/MSNBC, etc. in national polls. Oh, and Ron Paul is a fruit-loop. Vote for someone who has a chance, or your vote is worthless. That is all.

I wish people wouldn't think like that. If everyone is counting someone out before they have a chance, of course they wouldn't have a chance.

And nope, no kids, in fact I don't want any so why should I pay for others kids to go to school?
A lot of people who didn't want kids now have them, and so could you.

Unless you're a homosexual.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Nonetheless, if you think its a bad idea for a government to invest in educating its citizens you're a fool.

I have noticed over the years that whacko politicians intitially appear to be "straight shooters" who are above the typical "inside the beltway" mentality.

Given enough time, however, they prove that they are just lunatics. I think it takes a crazy person to attempt a run at the presidency by telling the truth.

Wurd! Are you guys afraid of change or are you so comfortable being stuck in this rut this country is in that you don't want to change. Hell, look the guy up and give him a chance. If not him look at someone else, don't just vote for one of the two people the parties hand you. Think for yourselves!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

dont take/pick a candadate till the very end....so many ron paul nuthuggers jumped on the bandwagon like fairweather fans -

he will not be president of the united states I garentee it

thats nice, successful?
Do you have kids? RP wants to get rid of federal funding from schools and make it more like a market... Would you want your kids going to a school without federal funding?
That's not exactly true. He supports school vouchers and I haven't met many economists who doesn't.

Well, you kind have to vote for one of the two parties. I wasn't speaking on RP in context of an independant.

The only independant that has a chance and would work imo is Bloomberg, because he is more of a centrist....and everyone would get something that appeals to everyone. However, I don't think he wants to be President.

Sure the United States isn't perfect, but come on if you really think were in a terrible position you ought to go live in North Korea or something.

Quit you're *****ing, America is doing just fine.

Our glory years might be over, but i doubt that any president can really do anything about that.

Our power on the world stage might decline, but i'm betting we will still enjoy a pretty great standard of living compared to the vast majority of the world's population.

I'm tired of morons who drive SUVs and giant pickups complaining about the cost of gas.

Stop buying vehicles to compensate for your small wiener and it wouldnt be such a big deal.

In all due fairness to Ron Paul, people keep using the "change" buzz word...who represents more change than Ron Paul?

People are just following what the media tells them to....that's exactly why Obama turned in a good performance in NH...it had nothing to do with what his or Hillary's policies were or something they said...it was the media riding the Obama train and citizens going along for the ride.

And the votes are totally capable of being changed...look up Avi Rubin's report on the fragility of the electronic voting systems (or the SAIC report, as well)...and that's not even taking voter suppression into account. The voting system is certainly flawed. At the very least, I would recommend a Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail...but that's not likely to happen because people, for whatever reason, want to deny that it is possible someone would want to fix an election.
