Nice Iguana and gecko fellas.

i had a dragon that lived a nice healthy life of 11 years old...It just stopped eating and eventually died...It was over a ft long. Just died acouple months back and i enjoyed evey minute he was alive, not as active as i'd like but a sweetgheart nonetheless

bearded dragons are cool they usually interact with people well as they arent too scared and are curious. i had a water dragon and still have my african fat tail geko (10 years old) i also had a nile monitor but that thing was too mean even though he ate canned dog food with suppliments in it he was very territorial. my friend has him now and it still tries to bite him lol. he is about 6 foot (sorta big but alot of it is tail) i would like a bearded dragon but where i live they are 90 bucks just for a hatchling

i got mine about 2 1/2- 3" long ($75). Cute little things. i wouldn't hesetate buying another as they are very cheap to maintain require normal living area. mine eat chopped up veggies, fruit, super mealworms and large crickets..All of wich are very inexpensive. The tank was a handmedown but was about 72gal? He had more then enough space in wich he couldn't fully utilize...but thats fine...They ( mine) was extremly calm and never thought about harming me in any way.

this is my baby california kingsnake, Saleen... hatched in late september... he is pretty cool, and growing really fast... nearing 20" now

i had one of these at my work for a while, but it just choked itself to death on a chord. im not sure if it was a californian though. and he was about 4 feet long

they watch what you do and dont mind being picked up i know that the guy i know with one runs around on an iguana leash its pretty funny. acts more like a normal pet than a reptile. like when i was there and it was out on the leash it didnt care if i was there and came up to me to stare at me lol

I love waterdragons had them for years.... Like a nicer smaller iguana

It bugs me when i see someone at the pet store going to buy an iguana for their first reptile.. no!! You gotta have tons of experience to properly care for an iguana

Here's my buddy Snoopy and his cage I built.

He is starting to Acclimate to his new surroundings and his stress level is lowering so his colors are starting to brighten up. Nice Herps quite a zoo you have there I'm jealous.

I'm assuming your Iggy is pretty tame by the picture of him being outside with no leash. I'm really looking forward to where snoopy is to that point. I'm still taking baby steps gaining his trust.

Also is your iggy free-roam or does he have an enclosure?

And if your interested I was mistakenly sent two Green Iguana The Ultimate Owners manual The most resourceful and recommended Iguana book. I'm letting it go for 10$ opposed to the 32.50$ it costs. Its a very interesting read so far.

Thanks, I have a bunch, and had even more.

The Iggy is really good, and he just hangs out. He has an encolsure in the back yard, that measures 8'x4'x4'.

No thanks on the manual though, don't need it, been keeping herps for a long time.

Pics of Habitiat for iggy?

My habitat is almost complete, I just need to install a hammock and a humidifier. For humidity I've been manually spraying it, which doesn't quite cut it.

Right now it's just an empty cage. I'm going to get some nice pieces of drift wood, and some greenery for him. Big bastard eats like $50 worth of greens a week. One bag of Kale, carrots, squash, some fruits and all that good shit.

Yea they sure do eat a lot my guys a pretty good eater but not near 50$ a week. And Iguanas grow fast!! Snoopy will outgrow his enclosure in about a year but by then he will be tame enough to be free-roam.

And I'll take it that your iggy is a Red Iguana rather than the common grean iguana, Iguana Iguana?
