I used to have a ball python, but unforntunatly sold it. I am in the market for a colombian red tail boa or a sand boa though. I think ball pythons make the best pets though, they are very docile.

A ball python is a bad choice. They are very nervous -- hence, the ball. They do not eat well.

The red tail boa is the way to go -- can be very relaxed and take well to captivity if you get it at a young age. They get large, but not so large as to where you cannot manage them.

Burmeese Pythons can get large in a hurry -- too large if you let them. Can also be real bastards - with the size and strength to back that nasty attitude up.

lol yes they can. My ball python ate very well and tended to bot ball up much, i had him for 2 years before i sold him and never had ne problems with him. At the moment I have no money for a sand boa, just kinda looking around for one.
