Repost?, More CALI Cop BS.. Shoots Mother and Child while off Duty

This story took place a few weeks ago in San Diego. Now that the story has developed(cops tried to keep it lowkey), it is now a hot debate...and the off duty cop seems to be getting special treatment.This off duty cop is at home on payed leave of absence...+2 weeks of police investigation and they claim "There is no official victim as of yet".

The gist of the story:

-Typical road rage incident, one party cuts off the other.

-Off duty cop follows mother and her 8 year old son to a parking lot

-Off duty cop pulls up next to car(side by side) and both parties verbally argue.

-Off duty cop pulls out handgun and fires in to passenger side vehicle where 8 year child is struck in the knee

-Mother puts the car in reverse to get away.

-Off duty cop steps out the vehicle and proceeds to unload 4 more rounds in to the windshield

-Mother is shot twice in the arm

-Off duty cop claims self defense and his life was endanger

-Drug and alcohol test performed on mother but not on officer..WTF?

-Two weeks, and no charges have been filed.

He created his own peril...you cannot claim self-defense when you are the original aggressor unless you withdraw and the person continues to attack. He had no privilege to use deadly force...lock him up.
