Replicating Q-Forms as fiberglass? (pic)

I have a pair of Q-Forms made from plastic and lined with dynamat on the inside to reduce flex. I would rather have fiberglass kick panels plus I also have another similar truck that uses the same kick panel.

How could I duplicate these Q-Forms into fiberglass kick panels?

Thanks

Just cover them with a few layers of masking tape and glass over them like you would do if you were making a mold to start off kicks or a sub box. Honestly thoug, if you're going to go to the trouble, I'd just make custom kicks anyway.

Cover the holes with something rigid (plexi, hardborad, etc..) and fill them with a thickened mixture of plaster. Once it sets fully pop it out and you have a mold to lay the glass over and they will come out the same size as the original. Lay a disc or ring of hardboard where the midrange mount before you lay up the glass and you will have the baffle molded into it as well. Wrap the molds in aluminum foil or coat them with a mold release wax before layup so you can get the finished pieces off the mold.

I would never have thought about doing it that way. Pretty creative, and he can start selling bootleg copies of the Q-forms without removing them all the time, lol.
