Replacing tv speaker with 2" midrange

well my ps2 still has static when played through my cars system so i was thinking of just trying to replace my tvs speakers with one of the 2" midranges so that it might be a little louder. Would this work with just a direct swap.

ok i opened it up and they are 8 ohm speakers. Anyone have one of those 2" aura speakers that snoopdan mentioned
