Don't call it a comeback
Well just got back my other amp the zx350.2 and it works but sometimes it shuts off and there real bad alt whinning, when i roll the windows down there feedback in the speakers. So is it a bad ground? Should I just use the same ground I have for my sub amp as the ground for this one? Its 4 gauge, so could it handle another 300 wats already has aorund 600 on it. Also i talked to some1 that said I shouldnt have ran a power wire for my zx350 and just use the one I have for my sub amp (use a distro block) wadda ya thoughts? Gonna go buy some stuff tomorrow then hook it up right any thoughts as so get the best outcome? Thanks

It might be a bad ground. I know I dont have that problem in my truck running two amps. And im running a ton of power. I think Its somewhere around 1400rms between the two amps. But lemme know what you find out about it because it will help if I have the same problem

No. I am running my 4 guage to a distro block. From there I have to runs of 8guage goiny sub amp. And one run of 8 going into the JL 4 channel. Two seperate grounds.
single ground point will prevent 'most' ground loop noise. this is a hella deep subject. Amps or spoeakers acting like a ground point will alsoo cause some noise. this could get huge! LOL

I'm gonna make 1 gound with my 4 gauge and get a 2 distro blocks and have 1 power and 1 ground for both amps. After I do that and still whinning I guess I'l change out the RCAs.

I had a subaru that did that.... no matter what I tried couldnt get rid of the noise... come to find out the metal flake paint I used on my amp rack created enough oif a ground loop to introduce alt whine! Bizzarr!

I isolated my amps with rubber grommets (top and bottom) and isolated my amp rack from any possible ground contact point. Twisted pair RCA REALLY does help in my experience. Also make sure any crossing of the power and any signal wire are done only at a 90 degree angle-- these are just some of the tricks I learned. like I said... ground noise (aka alternator whine) can come from seemingly anywhere! how is and where is your HU grounded?

its getting deep in here!!!!

The only ground for my head unit is the in wiring harness itself, the weird thing is I have never had any whinning untill I hooked up the zx.

May be your RCAs
Thats what I am thinkin too cause they look like POS wires so im headin to the dealer tomorrow and picking up some RCAs and some distro blocks. I'd like to get a zx1000.1 there too but they will want an arm and a leg for it.

Don't they rattle like beach.......I was gonna swap mine for a glass but it costed a little more than i had.
