Replacing subs with shallow subs

I currently have 2 10" JL W1 in my truck. They're powered by a Rockford Fosgate P325.1

The W1's run at 150 RMS I believe, and I've been looking at lot of shallow subs that run at 250 RMS.

1. Are shallow subs any good? If so, which 10"s would you recommend?

2. Could I just replace the subs that run at 150 RMS a piece for the 2 shallow subs that run at 250 RMS using the same amp? If not, what amp should I get?

I have little room under my F150 seats and have been thinking about raising the back seats and putting 12's in, but I want to try this out first. Thoughts?
