Replacement masterlock key??

Probably the cost of the key + matching the core. I couldn't imagine it being too expensive.

If you have time to wait for a delivery, you could call Masterlock for a replacement.

Is the lock attached to something, or are you able to just take the lock in? I'm sure the ease of fitting the key will make a difference in price.

it's attached to my shed, which has a metal shield on it so it can't easily be cut.

I thought the lock smith could make a key just by knowing the code on the bottom, E444.

I doubt a locksmith will make you the key. Not that they cant, but they wont.

Making random keys without the lock is somewhat unethical in the locksmith community.

if it was that easy (go to a locksmith with a code) then no lock on earth would be even remotley useful!!! Now, if you took them the lock that would be a diffrent story.
