replaced amp

I just went to Best Buy, because I had an amp (fusion) that I bought from them with 4 extended service warranty. Well, the amp kept going into protection. I was going to have them tune both amps I had. The other amp was a crunch 1100.2 groundzone. The crunch works fine. So I waited for them to check system out schedule at 6 pm the 19th. Then I went back after waiting for 45 minutes, and found out the were back up with a van they were having difficult install, so they would not do it at that day. Well, I talk to one of the guys there, and they had a kenwood 600 watt amp mono d block amp, and only one on display was available, and he gave it to me for $109.99. So I install it, and all I can say what a difference in the system. I also got two kenwood 10 inch kfc-w110s hooked up to the crunch amp.

It sounds awesome. I turned the gain down on the crunch to 1/4 gain, and the kenwood is at 2 volts to match the head unit. So now I am happy it sounds great now. I think the kenwood 600 amp matches the 12 inch fusion sub better than the one that came with bass package.

I know that old school Japanese Sony is better than new Sony, but this thing doesn't even have a x-over or anything, lol.

Sony's can be notorious for heating up quick. But for 23$ who cares lol.
