yep thats a great amp.. much, much better than i ever hoped he could get other there..

the amp has no bass boost

the subsonic... humm i has thinking to set it to 30hz since my subs claim to do 20hz to 180hz and i tune the the box to +/- 34hz

to set the subsonic i try to use a 30hz tone and see how they handle it... if they handle fine stay like that, if no, i set it to the box tune, 34hz

the low pass i was thinking around 100hz like i did the last time... i use a 100hz test tone to set crossover start from down(50hz) and turn the knob up u will start to hear something very far away and when it reach a volume point that stops going up u back down and try to find the exect point where the 100hz came fully to live and leave it here... did the same to set the high pass for the door speakers but reverse, when i stop here the tone it means that u cut 100hz go back just a bit when o hear a farway tone ant the speakers and o gave kind of a slop at the crossover

if u want o can test after that, use 120hz to lp on sub and a 80 or 90 hz n the speakers amp and check if u can hear something, if do hear its up to u if u want to cut more or leave it like that

i think my way of thinking is correct rigth? it hard to set crossovers, they are allways something like this, 50hz to 250hz, how the hell are we supose to a especific frequency? how can we fin 100hz? i came with that ideia hope im doing fine lol

yep thats a great amp.. much, much better than i ever hoped he could get other there..

it was a realy nice deal they were used on a spl demo/promo car only done like 15 "competitions" and some tests... they look like new on the outside and on the inside i open the amp up to check how it was and dam is just like new, i some knolege about electronics and circuitboard and that kind of stuff and i was realy amazed, the amp is from 2003 and its dam new in every way

u can set hp to 100 or 120 on mids if u want just try it and make sure they don't distort.. on the ss filter subs can about 6db below box tuning but idk how close u were to 34hz after sub disp, if u really tuned at 34hz then 30 hz should be great.. 125hz lp should be about 1/2 way outta 250.. u don't have to use tones they aren't same as music just play fav songs with subs off or down to set mids so they don't distort, then turn subs up and adjust filters on sub amp..

i do tune by hear not from start, i like to set a point that i know is the starting point i want like 100hz after that do minor adjustments... im a bit methodic after all is tune i know that the crossovers are set perty close on 100hz like i want... i dont like the idea of having a sistem tuned and dont know where my crossovers are for a fact...

as long as u subtracted wood and port and sub disp. to get cf ad and used that to tell u how long to make ports u should be good.. if u didn't subtract sub disp it probably closer to 37hz..

i dicide to redo my mat cinse i couldent remember the exact cu ft of my box...

iinside mesures 1.98cu ft each chamber after sub and displaycement....

and the tune is on 30hz

(dont know were the hell i get the 34hz on my head, probably a round number for thge fs on my subs since they have a fs of 33.7 hz)

soo what do u guy tell my of my box?

dual chamber 1.98 cu ft each and tune the 30hz?

have been busy these days lol

now im doing the trunk space.... only bad part is that is winter time i dont have garage, is dark at 6pm i get out of work at 6pm lol so only work at weekends but sice its winter we must have the rain at weekends lol so i have work on and of at the back

after that still have to do back doors deadening and new speakers all around

new high quality rca cable for the sub amp

new fuse for the battery 100 amps

new fuse spliter for the back 80amp for sub amp and 60amp for speakers amp
