treo csx motor. bought it blown several years ago from ca member. removed the cone and the voice coil, after cutting it from the cone, to find that the bottom of the coil had unraveled and was wrapped heavily around the pole piece in the motor. i had to cut the wires to remove the coil fully. how would i go about getting the wire out? the gap is thin and i have a hard time seeing down there, and the tools that i have to get in that gap and cut the wire are non existent to my tool box.

any suggestions?

send it to me i can fit for ya //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i take a piece of stainless steel wire out of my mig welder and bend a hook on the end...

Sounds like it would have been easier to NOT cut the coil...then you could have pulled on it?
No if i didnt cut the coil i would have never been able to remove the voice coil assembly. it is wrapped heavily around the pole piece and trust me its alot harder to get to then im making it sound. ill try and take pics of it. so motor top plates dont come off too easy i take it lol

Do NOT attempt to take the motor apart, since you dont know what you are doing. Disassembling/reassembling a motor is a good way to lose a finger.

Ever tried it before? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Those magnets can smash a finger like a ripe grape when they decide to 'attract' each other.
Nope, didn't even think about that though...
